Gutsy, provocative tale of a festering, unpredictable evil. Meadows crafts a brutally honest depiction of the corruption of young, impressionable minds - and the consequences that follow. He also analyzes the willingness of an individual to conform to a group that offers acceptance, even at the expense of personal beliefs. This film succeeds by being completely honest, without force feeding us it's message.
As far as performances go, Thomas Turgoose and Stephen Graham are exceptional.
